Opera Link not avaible 14 and up?

I acess Opera link through the setting on my iphone to sync my bookmarks it takes to the website to do so and it said at first how there were working on making it for for version 14 and up. I have version "8.0.2.80660"
Every time i try to tap the "Opera Link" option to sync my data nothing happens, please help going to get a new phone and dont want to loose my data.
