Will not launch most of the time and freezes on import

So I have recently downloaded the browser on suggestion and I have already had to uninstall the program due to it not launching at all, I will get the little popup with the sound then nothing. I looked on the web and I would find that its a windows 10 problem with something to do with family which I don't use... well after ending the 8+ tasks that Opera GX seems to launch when clicking on the icon I can get it to open after a few times doing that, when I do get it to open I cannot get it to import HTML file for bookmarks... It just sits there on processing for hours if I let it. Any suggestions or things I could try would be appreciated, I would like to give this browser a fair shot but so far its not starting off great.
