Opera Aggressively Not Saving Tabs & Erasing History

I just installed the latest version of Opera for Ubuntu 20.04 using
sudo snap install opera
and it is displaying the oddest behavior after 3 days of usage.Last night, I had 50+ tabs open. I went to sleep and left my computer running.
In the morning, the Opera browser had closed (I just figured it crash at some point during the night) However, when I restarted the browser.... all of my tabs were missing.
I immediately open the history panel saw my tabs, I restored one single tab, then the entire history of all my tabs vanished as well.
If I wasn't on linux, I would have assumed that its a virus given the behavior. All of my other browsers seem to functioning normally.
What gives?

I have the same issue.
At some point, Opera "decides" to stop saving new bookmarks, the history, and the list of opened tab.
To a minimum, when there is a problem saving those parameters, Opera should work the user so we know that we should restart ASAP. As it stands, we have no clue and, at least in my case, it can be weeks later that I restart (or it crashes) and it means I'm losing all the bookmarks I've added (and those links are not going to be in my history either).
