Messenger sidebar always new notification

My messenger sidebar shows me that I have a notification but I have read all of them. So when I'm browsing I don't know if somebody texted me or if it is just the bug.

@nisty same for me. Same bug from the new version. Just for Messenger, it's really anoying.

I have the same problem on Opera 'standard' - 85.0.4341.28

Same for me - the red dot is always there, even when all the messages are read. I though for a second that it was because there is a message in the 'Other' folder but it's not the issue.
Looking forward to the fix.

I have the same issue. If I log off from messenger, the notification is still active
