Exporting my Bookmarks

Hi there people, I'm putting together a new computer as the HD on this one is slowing failing, I have only two things to move/save to the new computer. Both computers are Linux. Going by the number of questions on this topic, It looks like there is no easy way of exporting bookmarks... Can someone tell me then where the bookmarks file is kept and the name of that file. Can it be copied, either be pasted or imported into the same location in the corresponding system on the new.
Browser: Opera 84.0.4316
Thank you for any replies and help.

You can goto the URL
opera://bookmarks
and use the drop-down at the bottom left to export your bookmarks as an HTML file. You can then import them into a new Opera using the same drop-down.Note that speed dials on the start page are bookmarks too and will be backed up that way. However, their thumbnails will not. If you care about that, goto the URL
opera://about
and take note of the "profile" path. Then, close Opera. In the profile folder, back up the "Bookmarks" and "BookmarksExtras" files. Then, use them to replace the existing ones in the new Opera. You can also sign into Opera Sync with your Opera account here and choose to sync your bookmarks. Then, you can do the same in the new Opera to get them back. But, always do the other backup methods too just in case syncing fails.

@burnout426 I'm sure this is a result of browser updates but when I type opera://bookmarks I get a 'Site can't be reached' error. Do you have any updated info?

@nbafan You can hit ctrl + shift + b to get to bookmarks. Or, you can goto menu -> Bookmarks -> bookmarks. But, if the bookmarks page is really missing, those won't help.
