I love AccuWeather, so I always prefer to check the weather from the Speed Dial as it's the easiest way to access it. However it opens the link in a new tab, so I always have to close the Speed Dial afterwards.

If you could just make it middle-clickable for those who want to open it in a new tab, then that would be perfect. Thanks for reading!

P.S. Is there a way to have it in the sidebar somehow?

When the page opens up, you can click the heart icon in the address field and bookmark the page to the speed dial folder. Then, you can just click on the speed dial and it will open in the current tab.

Or, you can add the page to the sidebar. Goto the URL opera://flags/#sidebar-site-panel, enable the flag, restart Opera, click the 3 dots at the bottom of the sidebar, scroll down to "Custom Site Panels" and add the URL for the page.

With that aid though, having the option to reuse the speed dial page sounds cool to me.

@burnout426 Thanks, your tip was very useful! I tried the flags one, it's a really nice feature as the sidebar button opens the page as a side window! Downside is that I have to refresh it manually though, but it's still a good alternative.
