More reliable and intuitive synchronisation of my Opera Browser

I'm a long term user of Opera, but a first time poster. I confess this is something of a vent, but I have never been able to set up my synchronisation. I seem to go round in circles, being asked to log in several times and to provide a 'pass phrase', which I know I have tried to set up several times over the years.
My request to Opera is that some time in the future the whole process for synchronisation is made more reliable and intuitive.
