No readable text in file selection popup on Ubuntu 20.04

File browser for uploading files does not show the fonts, only empty characters on Ubuntu 20.04.
Opera Version:81.0.4196.54
Did reset the configuration to default and let Opera create a new profile. Problem persists.

Occurred on trying to import a bookmarks.html and also on page to upload images.
I succeeded to import the bookmarks, because I new exactly where they where situated.

@manuzzi I have this exact issue myself! Does not show readable text in downloads either

@manuzzi I tried setting custom fonts in Settings but that did nothing either

Found a solution here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1224125/font-characters-displayed-as-squares-in-ubuntu-18-04.
But recently the problem came back.

@manuzzi Upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04 solved the problem.
