Opera 25 beta 1

  • It seems that opera takes over control of phone capacative menu and back buttons when in home or application screen. When in any other application buttons work ok.
When on home or app screen, back button doesn't work at all, and long pressing menu button opens opera. This occurs also if opera is is closed normally or force closed from apps settings.

    Phone samsung s2 i9100
    Cyanogenmod 4.4.2 ( trebuchet launcher 1.0)

  • I've checked setting for long menu long press and it's search assistent. Opera is probably default for this.

Perhaps this issue with back button isn't related to opera at all, but I've just recently start to use it again (because of the bookmarks) and notice this problem.

  • And we still can't share selected test sad 😞

  • @karafeka
You got a background filter similar with Bigtincan app which doesn't use the local webserver.

  • good

  • Hi,

we have just released a bugfixing update to beta channel, it is now available to download from Google Play market.

    Changelog:

    • Fixed issue with video playback
    • Fixed various issues with bookmarks
    • Fixed issues with history items
    • Various stability improvements
  • App crash in attempt to type any letter on address bar. Nexus S running ICS.

  • Anybody knows if app deletion erase downloaded items?

  • How to reproduce:

    • fresh install and initialization
    • check any url address and save as speeddial
    • now address bar is not functional, app stalls until closing.
Where is the glitch, on phone partition (storage?) or app closes itself?
  • If you reopen a closed tab and press back button, the tab closes again. I would expect it to go back in history.

  • waaaw,good.

  • App crash in attempt to type any letter on address bar. Nexus S running ICS.

Fixed in latest beta. Another issue is with Google search engine and perhaps other g services since v24. Is not clear why after 2-3 toggles (any, especially GPU override included) in opera:flags page result a crash instead Google search results. Same Nexus without g/sw/network localization engaged, that being said because via mock location is even worse.
