Opera GX crashes and I can't uninstall

Hello,

I am running into a problem with Opera GX. I had it installed and configured, running without a problem. Then, all of the sudden, when I started Opera GX, it would start a window and then the window would just go away after about 5 seconds. No error message or anything.

So, my plan was to uninstall and reinstall. However, when I tried to click the Uninstall button in the app/remove app Windows application, a pop up window was displayed saying "This app and its related info will be uninstalled. I click OK and nothing happens.

Any ideas how to get Opera GX back online?

(In case it matters, the version is Opera GX Stable 79.0.4143.60.)
