Somebody may be able to help you, but I have problems of a different nature with Opera.

I think support for Opera Unite was dropped in version 12. You'll have to use an older Opera version (for example 11.64) instead.

Wasn't removed, just disabled by default. Enable it from opera:config#UserPrefs|EnableUnite (copy paste that to address bar).
