Change Shortcut Keys / Decoding

Good Day to you all!
I finally decided to at least install the new opera as a second option,
though i am still not satisfied with it, because of the lack of customisation compared to Opera 12.Well, i tried to change it with a lot of extensions and i already edited the preferences file to switch through tabs with ctrl+1/ctrl+2. It is a start.
But now i wanted to change the shortcut keys (e.g. ctrl+t = new tab) but, of course, could not find anything built in. shame on you, devs.
I opened all the files and found the file "opera.pak" in the version folder inside the root of the opera installation.
Inside are all the shortcut keys, but the problem is the en/decoding,
since if you change a shortcut, the files goes corrupt and opera will refuse to start.##Does anyone know how to de/encode this file properly so i can finally have my own shortcut keys,
since opera devs won't give us the customisation options we all loved and still want in this new version.##Thanks and regards
