      I managed to darken the background color of the mail treeview, shown in the link to the pic below. But, the font color is in grey and needs to be changed to white. I read that you cant change it because it depends on the system colors. But I dont have any grey colors anywhere in my system (XP Pro). How do I fix this to change the font color to white?

        Try changing the Opera skin temporarily.
        If the colour changes with the new skin, it's defined in the skin.ini file, which is inside the skin zip file.
        This is quite complex to do, but the file can be extracted from the zip file, edited, and then re-packed into the zip file.
        I don't think there's any easier way to do it I'm afraid.

          Hi davehawley. I tried that. But no matter what themes I try, the font color never changes. I even changed my system's colors and it doesnt work. Theres got to be a file responsible for this. I know there is. Any other help is appreciated.

            There might be, but don't really no. In another thread, I recently found that I could only change the font color for highlighted/selected items.
