Sidebar specific to workspace

Hi,
A lot of times when I'm working I find the sidebar be a bit distracting from the work. Mainly when I do a big project I put my eyes in the left and find myself on social media half an hour later. I think it may be very useful to have the sidebar specific to workspace because when I'm relaxing I want to be in contact with my friends. This feature might be useful not only for the messengers but also for things like downloads bookmarks and these things because you don't want to have distractions while work or studying.
