Adobe Flash constantly crashing

Hello. I use Opera on Mac OSX 10.6.8. For about a two weeks, the Adobe Flash plugin will crash every 5-10 minutes. This is very annoying and I will stop using Opera soon if this persists. I have tried re-installing the Flash plugin and rebooting the system to no avail (currently version 14.0). I have a feeling this is not related to my operating system (which is outdated for Mac but still fully functional) but more of an issue with Opera itself. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.
