Fan usage on windows 8.1

When i used opera gx on my Windows 8.1, my fan went brrrrr. And usually if i were to go on chrome, my pc fan would be completely fine

You're probably using many Sidebar services, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Twitch, Discord.... Every time one of those services check if you have new messages/notifications, it spikes CPU load. Most of them together Opera really heavy. But I suspect WhatsApp is the worst.

If you think Chrome is good for your fans, you should try Edge.
