For linux user you have to create softlink (short cut) to the none existing /opt/notepadpp/notepadpp pathe

$ sudo mkdir -p /opt/notepadpp/
$ sudo ln -s /usr/bin/xed /opt/notepadpp/notepadpp
and you done .
