Japanese filename corrupted when downloading from Gmail

Hi,
I am using Opera 23.0 on Windows 7.
When I download a file that has a Japanese filename from Gmail, the resultant filename in the downloads folder on my computer does not display properly, and shows up as "--------". (This kind of encoding corruption is called Mojibake in Japanese.)
I have tried typing "encoding" in the Opera settings window, and tried all of the three the Japanese settings but none of them work.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
