[Side panel] Facebook Messenger audio notifications not working

Hi, recently I've noticed that the side panel Messenger no longer gives me audio notifications, but using Facebook's site directly still gives them to me. I've tried all of the recommended suggestions and none of them worked. I also double-checked my Facebook account settings to make sure I had audio notifications enabled (I did). I also double-checked to ensure I didn't have it muted (I didn't).

This issue only began yesterday and I can't find any fixes for it. I can't check other browsers since they don't have the side panel Messenger ability, but as I said, visiting Facebook directly still gives me audio notifications for messages. I use the side panel Messenger every day and the audio notifications are great for when I'm gaming and not paying attention to it, so I'd very much like to be able to resolve this. This feature is one of several major reasons why I love this browser.

Here is the info that the sticky thread recommends adding:

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

Hmm, oddly enough, the sound returned just a few moments ago and I didn't do anything so I'm guessing it was on Facebook's end.
