Highlighted search terms unreadable

Hello, my issue is very minor compared to most. I enclosed a picture of the issue, as you can see, I searched for Home Page (yes, I have no idea how to return to the home page) but my problem is with the search results. Any item you search for will be highlighted, and as you can see, my search terms are all highlighted by a very obnoxious green highlight and I can not see anything other than Green boxes that block out the text underneath them.
My question is how can I either turn the highlighting off, or tone it down, maybe changing the color? I'm slightly colorblind, and have difficulties with green. So those green highlights totally obscure the words beneath them. I know the green boxes indicate one of my search terms, but I would like to be able to see them.
