Search Bar Won't Go Away While Watching Youtube Fullscreen

I've been using opera for about a week now, for a short while everything worked nicely. I had absolutely no problems and I was greatly enjoying it. Until suddenly, one day when the search bar appeared at the top of my youtube video. It compressed the video so now there are two black bars on the side which means that it isn't on top of the video. It's caused me to use chrome when watching youtube, and I really don't want to go back to chrome. Is there anything I'm missing? Please let me know, it's bugging the hell out of me.
