Opera Mail does not display all HTML mails

I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum, but i couldn't find a forum specific to Opera Mail.
I have the problem that version 1.0.1040 does not display all my mail. Specifically there are some HTML mails which Opera refuses to display "correctly", it just displays the replacement text-only part - which in some cases isn't useful at all. Unfortunately one online shop sends "See html Part for details" as text-only replacement. I did save the mail as an html file and was able (after stripping the headers and other attachments) to display it in a regular browser. -

This forum is perfect for the windows version of Opera Mail. Just always mention "Opera Mail" in the thread title like you did or prefix the title with "Opera Mail - ".

Click the wrench icon at the top right of Opera and make sure "prefer plain text" isn't checked.
Also, do not use low-bandwidth mode or "do not download attachments". Or, if you do, right-click the message and choose "fetch complete message".
If that still doesn't work, I'd have to see the full source of the message as an mbs file (ctrl + s) to tell you if it's a bug with Opera or something messed up in the message source itself.

I feel indescribably stupid now. It is inexplicable to me how that option could possibly have escaped my notice, especially since I was looking for it for two weeks now. Thank you very much!

You're welcome. It should be unchecked by default. Not sure how it got checked.
