Modifiying the search engine list

Hi,

is there any way to modify the search engine list (add, delete, modify entries)? Or can I alternatively adapt the list to another language? I frequently use the search for Wikipedia but want to get results from the German branch.

Go to the main wikipedia page of your choice, in your case I assume de.wikipedia.org, and long-press at the search field. A contact menu will appear; choose "Add search engine" to create a new one.

That works. Thanks. But is there also a way to delete the predefined entries?

To delete, long press on the search icon and drag it to "Remove" icon. And I believe we cannot edit custom searches in Op 18.

hmm. That works with speed dial but I cannot drag search engines anywhere. Well, maybe it comes back in a later version. Adding engines already helps a lot. Thanks.

Apparently we can only remove search icons we add, not the preset ones...
