Can't install Chrome Extensions on Opera GX

Hello,

Recently I was trying to install an extension from the Chrome Webstore, so I clicked download and then it sends me to the extensions page on Opera and then the new extension doesn't show up for me to install, so far I can't get any new extensions, and yes I have the Opera extension to install Chrome extensions

As far as I understand, plugins in chrome and popup windows cannot be used in Opera.

Yes, and it doesn't work for me neither.
I use opera GX and it never worked. When I click on the dialog box and it takes me to the extension manager, nothing is showing, and the opera icon is turning red on the taskbar, which means something is not right... Anyone any advice?
