QR code won't scan

Everytime I scan the Opera Flow QR code on Opera Flow on my iPhone 8, there is an error prompting a network issue - there isn't any network issues.
Also when I choose to manually input a code, a small grey empty box is the only thing to show up; not a code.
Pls help
