YouTube is still showing its ads, even after restarting the browser and changing settings to default

Everytime I get an ad at the start of a video, it doesn't hide it, it just gives me a white screen.
Is there any fix to this?

Hello Opera GX forum!
While I have the adblocker feature on and click on a YouTube video it will show me a white screen with the skip button where the ad was supposed to be. Is it possible that I can make it skip this instead of having to manually skip it everytime?.
Here's an example

So two days ago I wanted to play some video on youtube, but this time I had AD at the start of the video, I checked, and my AdBlocker was on, so I tried next and next video, all of them had one or two ads. So ads are now at all videos. 95% of the time its always the 3 same ads. I dunno if it is only problem with my opera or simply opera started giving their own ads they get paid for. Do you know why is it happening and what can I do with it?
Thank you -

@sionecle
Go toopera://settings/adBlockerLists
and update the lists for Opera's built-in adblocker.
If that doesn't solve it, you can download and use uBlock OriginAlso, don't use multiple adblockers at once as it might cause problems/slow down your browser.
Dream on till your dream comes true

The only way I found to fix this is by installing Tempermonkey extension and then Auto Close Youtube Ads from Greasy Fork: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/9165-auto-close-youtube-ads
It makes the white splash be displayed but just for some minimum instants before it automatically disappears.

YouTube suddenly popped up an actual ad (and not the suppressed ones, a full on semi-nsfw one). Problem is i dont know why? I wasn't even messing with the settings. It was as it was. I even installed and move to from Opera to OperaGX, so i entered YouTube. Of course since it was a new browser i wasnt logged in, so i click on one and it worked while i wasnt logged in, so i go happy and log in from here. Google confirmation stuff and finally log in. Entered YouTube and Now it shows full on ads again. I just logged off and watched 10 vids on a roll,no ad problem so i dont understand what is happening
Opera(and OperaGX) addblock fails on YouTube when the account is signed in. And it doesnt when its not signed in. What is happening? Is that only happening to me?

Currently, GX is my preferred browser, however today I was surprised that when I was on YouTube, it showed me the video advertising something that previously did not happen when having the option to block advertising activated, did something happen?

Exact same problem as the 2 above me. When signed into Youtube, ads pop up. When logged out, no ads.
Using Opera GX latest, no update available for the browser, and no update available for the Adblock Lists. -

My ad-blocker stopped working 3 days ago, but it only stopped working for Youtube. I use the latest version and the ad-blocker is on.

@ryxslow I think most of us know about other adblockers, the real fix would be Opera updating the browser. Using another adblock on a browser which has "built-in adblocker" as one of its main selling points is less a fix and more a workaround sadly
