when i search on opera i dont get the lock symble just one that says unsecure how do i fix this

The lock symbol will only appear if you are using a secure https connection to search with. That is not a problem with Opera but your choice of search engine. You need to find a secure search engine or one that offers the option to log-in or set security options.
