issue with Opera's pinned icon

if the developers are listening - i don't like all the (new) versions since you fooled us with Chromium-Based shit!
i want to use v12.17, but new 'standards' do not allow me... i m using Chromium and very happy with it! but want to go back to my first love - Operatried using Opera 23 and pinned it on my taskbar on Windows 7 64 bit for faster access... Opera 12.17 expands from it's pinned icon, Opera 23 does not!

what should be done?
why do you guys make us complain? have you fired Opera 12.17 developers and brought some aliens who do not understand the meaning of simplicity and making the user happy??? get your things in place, now!

Yes, it does (but apparently only for regular installs and not portable)!
What did you point it at? opera.exe or launcher.exe? Try the other one.
get your things in place, now!
Things are exactly where they should be. You should cool down and watch your tone.
