Newest Opera: Any control over the layout? Alt_D for new URL in Full Screen?

I've love to free up some screen space sometimes. Full Screen is nice. Can we get rid of the moronic "Press Esc to Ext Full Screen mode". After seeing this 1000 times I think we know all about the bloody Escape key. Its like Youtube's Full Screen notification that stays up for a few seconds interfering with our viewing. This just assumes we're complete idiots with no capacity for the simplest in memory functions.
Also, when you're in Full Screen I haven't found a way of typing in a new URL to go to. You have to press the wonderful Esc key to exit Full Screen, type in the URL, then F11 to go back to Full Screen. Ridiculous. Is there any extension that will bring some logic to the table here?
How about control over the Tab bar? I don't want it there. Wastes vertical space. How to get rid of it? These are the same reasons some of us detest the other browsers in the first place and chose Opera!
