How to change Google search engine country

Google is my prefered and default search engine, but I have problems to change to my current country as the location for my search activities. I have visited Thailand this year, and now google.co.th is the default site for my searches. And I can't change it. I have tried to delete all cookies, to change standard search engine, but it does not work. Can you please advice me?”

I guess this thread is not relevant to even Opera.
There's a "content language" setting at the bottom of Google pages. I'm not sure though - I encountered that on YouTube. However, in such a setting I chose "Worldwide".
Presumably, I guess it should've worked for the ads in videos. But you know what? Only once I got a non-Russian stuff, then again damn Google reverted me to "Russia".
I don't know, but I suppose such localising must be maintained by the site, the hosting. Of course, there might be certain cookies compatibility issues also...:right: -

And besides, I wouldn't advise you to restrict yourself to one single search service: my usuals are two - and the main one on Chrome is Yahoo!.
In Firefox, I have an AOL and Yandex; in Opera the start one is Google - but I have a whole score of others in the search box:)
