Opera Mini controls showing at the top after installing custom ROM.

So I flashed a new custom rom on my android phone running 4.2.2 JellyBean and to my greatest surprise, when I installed opera the controls now show at the top together with the address bar and search bar.. Everything was normal on my stock rom(only address and search bars were at the top and other controls were at the bottom)..
It looks kinda weird because I'm used to the old looks.. I even tried installing the latest version from Google play store but it's still the same thing..
Here are some screenshots

Please, does anyone know how to make it look normal again on the custom rom?? I miss my old opera looks..

Have some patients, it's only been just over 6 hours since your initial post.

Hello, I figured out your issue.
This occurred because the custom ROM you installed has a higher display density configured than the stock ROM of your device, because of that Opera is serving your device the tablet version of the interface.
Search about build.prop screen / LCD density in the web, you can edit this configuration if you have root access.

yeah.. Rafaelluik is right.. I already solved the problem by using an xposed module called app settings to change the dpi for opera mini only.. but now that you've mention the build.prop method, I'll try it out to avoid future problems with other apps..
thanks
