Can you add an option to remove the extensions icon from the extension bar?

It's really in the way and most of all it's not needed and I am sure that a lot of people actually want it removed but it doesn't bother them enough to do something about it but it bothers me too much too just sit and do nothing about it so I'll be happy if you could add an option to remove it.
