Please make sure to finish all your posts before this time. The downtime should only last for a few minutes.

I'm stuck on Opera 12.17 ....

  • I beg the developers to put back to opera 23 or future ver the bookmark panel, I loved them in Opera 12 thats why I won't upgrade and use ver 23 as a backup for web pages that don't support 12. I solved my problem with bookmark notes with Roboform that keep my bookmark notes intact. Next is Tab wrapping to multiple lines and the bookmark panel which are so very important for the way I have Opera setup on my system. I don't know why you want to make Opera similar to Google Chrome but you took away the best stuff and if you don't want to add those as feature for God sake some developer out there please help with and extension or add on to bring them on.

  • Firefox with addons has all the functionality of Opera 12, including the bookmark bar and tab wrapping. Here i just made a picture of my Waterfox(firefox 64bit) with these features enabled.

  • which add ons do I add on

  • supernicknick, could you share which extension you used.

    Two thing I could not live without is the custom quicksearch and password sync. Does Firefox mobile (Android) sync and have access to those?

  • jaron: There are a lot of online password mangers that upload you passwords to a cloud and allow you access onine site any where with an Internet connection. I use RoboForm cause its client base Which means you keep your password data base and your responceble for your password. Here is a on-line coupon that will give you 50% off your purchase at the RoboForum site "EGS30". Another thing is its way better than the pass word managers from all the browsers who will easily forget the siet and password.

  • for multibar i installed Tab Mix Plus, bookmark bar is integrated into basic firefox, the activation of it is kinda weird though, it first has to be enabled (right click, check "Bookmark bar") and then through the "customize" menu the "bookmarks"and "bookmark toolbar items" need to be dragged on there. Not sure why it works like this but its a one time procedure.

    @jaron
    I use: Add Bookmark Here ²(adds that option to bookmark folders), Auto-Sort Bookmarks(adds sorting options), Custom Tab Width(shrinking tabs), FLST(tab minimize), QuickFox Notes, Session Manager, Sort and Search Customization Dialogs(adds quicksearch window to pretty much everything), Speed Dial, Undo Closed Tabs Button, Adblock Plus.

    I pretty much add addons as soon as i encounter something i was used to in Opera, googling points me to a right addon within minutes.
