Sidebar randomly opening when creating a new tab

I've already disabled it several times, yet, sometimes when opening a new tab, the sidebar activates itself without my consent, making me disable it again. It's getting kinda annoying and I want to make it stop.
I've looked for any kind of shortcuts that could maybe be doing this but there are none configured (it is empty).
