Opera Freezes on Mac OS 10.15.5 when saving websites to new bookmark folders

I upgraded to Mac OS 10.15.5 a few days ago. Since then Opera freezes whenever I try to save a website into a new bookmark folder. As soon as I expand a bookmark folder to create a new one to save the website address, Opera freezes and will not come out of it without using the "force quite" option.
