"Asia" and "Americas" VPN options gone

Hello,
today I have started Opera as usual and now the options to set the VPN to the locations "Americas" and "Asia" are gone, I can only select between "Europe" (which I already had enabled the last time I closed Opera and "Optimal Location"
I have updated Opera as well but there was no change. No addons are installed either that could conflict in any way.
I had found an option called "WebRTC" that was set to "Disable non-proxied UDP". When I set it to the recommended setting I could see both Americas and Asia options again, until I restarted the browser, then they were both gone on the WebRTC option automatically set itself to "Disable UDP" again. Selecting the recommended option now doesn't make the options show up again and on every close it sets itself to the afore-mentioned not recommended option.
This is a blow to the face as the easy-to-use built-in VPN to visit blocked sites in my country is the only reason I even have Opera installed in the first place.
Any solutions?

I have found a VPN alternative for Firefox, maybe this will help someone else.
