Hide the sidebar permanently (prevent opera from adding apps)

Since few months ago, when I enter facebook or whatsapp from my pc, opera automatically adds respective sidebar-app and shows the sidebar that I don't use and have it disabled. It is quite annoying because each time you have to remove the app And hide the sidebar. I have searched for a solution but haven't found anything... is there a way to prevent opera from doing it?

@ptepickozlov
This seems to be one really contentious issue, I've seen a few who like the side bar but the majority hate it.
I hate it and wish it would just go away, every few days, pop, there it is again.
Doesn't sound like anyone is listening anyway. I thought a lot more of the Opera developers, shame.Regards

I have Version 68.0.3618.125 and I right click the sidebar and at the bottom of the menu is "Hide Sidebar"
On the right hand side of the browser window is the easy setup menu (the one with 3 arrows) and it has a setting to hide the sidebar. -

Although I have deactivated all settings, the sidebar opens by itself. In addition, the checkmarks for Facebook Messenger, Instagram and Whatsapp are setting themselves active. So, how can I deactivate the sidebar once and for all? I don't need it, I don't want it...

Opera's bad idea of forcing the use of the sidebar.
Every time I enter a social network the sidebar appears, even if I deactivated it before, I don't want to use it and I have to keep deactivating it all the time! [Caps are not allowed] -

I'm sick and tired of the damn sidebar. I've lost count of the number of times that I have turned it off. Please do something.

@reginaldojunior I don't seem to have this issue on version LVL 2 (core: 68.0.3618.206), but if you would do like the gentleman above and post the version # of Opera you are running, it might help get you a faster response, being that there are testers who scroll the forums as well

@ahabig Yes, that reply is going to make them stop everything they are doing, just so they can come running to you, graveling at your feet to do as you wish. In all seriousness, provide the version # of Opera you are running so that maybe it will speed up resolving your issue. I am on version LVL 2 (core: 68.0.3618.206) and I haven't seen the sidebar in a long time...

I may be wrong but isn't the point of a forum like this to feed back users experiences, annoyances and possible issues to help the development?
I'm on Version:69.0.3686.95 and for every time it updates also and perhaps by the time I've written this a new update.
Well fancy that, on checking the version number it's updated to Version:70.0.3728.106 and guess what has popped back in, the Side Bar.
So to summarize, could this stop happening? This is on two separate machines and both have Side Bar disabled.
