Opera doing weird things

Hello all,
Opera has been my browser since I bought this computer a year ago and everything has been nice. However, today I turned on my computer, opened Opera and started having some issues. Don't know if it's a bug, or maybe a virus. I can't explain it so I'll let the video here. Has anyone had this problem before? I tried to restart the computer but didn't fix anything. Should I reinstall Opera? I'm afraid of losing my configuration and markers.
Any other solution? Thanks.

Looks like tearing. Goto the URL
opera://settings/system
, turn off hardware acceleration and restart Opera to see if it helps. Or, goto the URLopera://flags
and reset all the flags. If that doesn't help, goto the URLopera://flags
, search for "scrolling" and play with some of the flags like "smooth scrolling" (disable it for example), and restart to see if anything helps. Revert any changes that don't help. Are you using Opera's adlbocker and tracking protection? Any extensions? How do things work wit those off?

Yes, I'm using Opera's adblocker with no extensions.
Turning off the hardware acceleration worked, thank you very much. Any idea why this happened? I've always had it on and worked perfectly. Should I be worried about my gpu (1050ti)?

You can do some testing. Turn hardware acceleration back on and goto the URL
opera://gpu
. See if there are any bugs/workarounds mentioned for the 1050ti. Perhaps something changed in Chromium (that Opera's based on) that's causing the difference. You can then goto the URLopera://flags/#ignore-gpu-blacklist
, enable the flag, restart Opera and test again to see if there's still tearing. If not, it might be Chromium blocking something for your GPU. Not sure. But, reset that flag to default when you're done testing. You can also goto the URL
opera://flags/#use-angle
and play with that flag to see if that helps when hardware acceleration is enabled.
