I've been using the Opera browser a few months.

Lately I noticed a different working on my computer.

After searching a lot about what was different, realized through the "MKN TaskExplorer 5" software, that Opera was taking an action priority over the "System", ie, the name "Opera" intermittently appears first in "Process "column above the name" System ".
I had not observed this behavior in "MKN TaskExplorer 5". I am user of this program for many years.

Briefly returned to use Chrome until I understand why this action, or it is corrected.
Chrome does not alter this list of priorities "MKN TaskExplorer 5" program.

My only desire is to contribute to the company Opera.
I am Brazilian. I am an admirer of technological production in Norway.
My only interest is to contribute to the improvement of the program.

I wish to add important information, which certainly has ties to the original post.

While I was using Opera, my HD worked with more constancy than now I'm using Chrome.

Many joys in all walks of life!

The "system idle process" is often not using the most CPU, other programs frequently use more.
I am assuming you're on Windows.
It surely wouldn't be a good thing at all if the operating system's processes were always using the most resources!

BTW you can force a line break when posting here simply by typing a double space at the end of a line.

He forgot to mention what Opera he was using.
            If it matters, of course:left:
