Off road mode help

Hello, its just some genreal help needed
ive recently updated from v 12.16 to v18 the issue is now i dont think i have the new off road mode working, i was aware it is is the new "turbo"
however when applying it, and i got to check my ip address it no longer changes my ip address etc, and pages don't load any quicker, dare i say, certain site that are getting blacklisted still remain blacklisted
i hope someone can help
