Amazon App Store + Kindle Fire HDX Support

The Opera browser is already in the Amazon App Store--but doesn't support Kindle devices. Given that Kindle Fire HD and HDX's are all based on Android 4, why don't they list as supported?
I would like to have opera on my kindle without having to sideload, & have updates from the app store.

I'm less interested, although curious, in why it doesn't show as supported and more interested in when it will be available for Kindle Fire HDX. Currently there are no alternative browsers available for HDX, and I'd really like an alternative to Silk.
