Opera Beta - Clicking in Address/Search bar crashes app

Hello, I seem to be running into a problem with the address bar in the app. if i click into it at any time the app stops funtioning and freezes. If i select a link from the speed dial there is no problem.
I am running the latest version of the beta (57.1.2830.52643), on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 SM-T830. Android version 9. Ad- block is enabled. Data Savings is Disabled
