opera was working fine until i caught an annoying software "apps hat" after a few attempts to remove it, im still not sure if its gone. but now for some reason opera stopped working. i can't open anything with it. cant access the internet or operas own pages, like "help" or "extensions" . it gives me no errors, it just keeps the pages white no matter what.

i tried installing it again, didn't work. but one thing i notice is that if i re-install it works fine for one time, but after a relaunch its now dead again.

i cant find any solution anywhere. please help and thank you.

You probably need to perform a more complete removal of the AppsHat adware. It normally comes into a system bundled with other software downloads (usually freeware), and may or may not have its presence disclosed in the download statement. The adware installs itself in multiple ways that allow it to re-spawn itself if removal is incomplete... it typically injects browser extensions, registry keys, Start-folder links, and regular installation files. Simply uninstalling it via the Control Panel will not usually remove it completely, and all or parts of it will reappear thereafter. Likewise, its registry keys may interfere with getting a browser to run right again after you re-install the browser. You will need to use some removal tools like AdwCleaner and Malwarebytes to get all of it out.

I would suggest either following the removal steps in a reputable website like http://malwaretips.com/blogs/appshat-virus-removal/ or else get assistance from a security website such as those at DSLR, Wilders, Malwarebytes, etc forums.

i used malwarebytes and adwcleaner and it supposedly scanned and cleaned my pc. the problem is still there. i have no idea if they removed "apps hat" in particular, but i do know that they removed other malwares and viruses.

If those two products removed "other... viruses ", then you may still have a malware infection or remnants thereof (beyond AppsHat adware) which the two products cannot deal with. A fair number of nasties require a variety of tools to assure full removal. If it were my system, and because there was a confirmed viral infection, I'd take any information about your problem and what was removed thus far and visit a security cleanup site (eg: like http://www.dslreports.com/forum/cleanup) and post there, requesting confirmation that the system is truly clean... they'll likely have you install some additional removal tools before posting. It seems like a lot of bother, but it does get the cleanup job done.
