Settings option for "Open new tab when middle click empty space on tab bar" feature request

The feature: "Open new tab when double/middle click empty space on tab bar" is great and works really nice, however it would be also great to be able to turn this feature Off in settings.
I am using multi-screen setup with application that helps moving windows from-screen-to-screen by middle clicking the top bar of the window. It works, but it also opens a new tab every time I do that, therefore I would prefer to turn this feature off for my usage. Is there any way to achieve this?
