New tab does not open

If I click the plus button to open a new tab, it opens for a split second and than closes. Im really frustrated so it would be appreciated if you would solve this problem of mine as fast as possible

Goto the URL opera://extensions and disable all your extensions. Then, try again.

Do a test. Download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import data from default browser" and install. Test in that Opera, but do not install any extensions, and do not enable Opera Sync.

Does it do it in that Opera too?
