Why Can't We Change Default Search Engines' Keywords?

I know we can't remove default search engines and i have no problem with that. But the problem is, i can't change those engines' keywords too.

I want to use some of those keywords of default engines for other custom search engines.

Is there a possible solution for this?

Hi @furkaneralp, you can remove almost all of them (except Google, which will remain intact), just follow the two first steps, that I mentioned here. In the third point, you can read (also there), on how to re-use/assign 'y' key, as a keyword to search in Youtube

Hope dev team will create an easier solution (Ability to change default search engines' keyword?) for it so other newbies like me won't try to find someone like you to help.
