Installing the NordPass Extension through the Chrome Web Store on Opera worked for me when I was having the issue with installing the extension through Opera and it redirected me to the NordPass download website. Hopefully, this information is useful to others!

Hi @nordpass - I fully agree with @ronnielicious - having this as a paid service raises the questions - how come things do not work?

I have installed Chrome extension and this still having problems... but I don't feel I need to be the tester of a product I already paid for...

@rolson Just remove the addon you got from the opera store, go to the chrome web store and add the addon from there instead. Did that on 4 of my Devices and works well on all of them.

If you run into any issues using the extension itself, you can always reach out to our support team at support@nordpass.com so that they could work on a solution.

@nordpass thank you for your suggestion I prefer Opera than Chrome - for me it has more functonality and speed.

@rolson As suggested I installed the Nordpass extension from Chrome on my Opera browser and it solved my problem of Nordpass redirecting to the website. Opera/Nordpass now interact like I expect.

@rolson You don't have to download and install chrome. You just have to add the addon from the chrome web store instead of the opera addon store. Just search for "chrome web store" on google with your Opera Browser and add the nordpass extension from there. There is no need to install any other Browser, it's just adding the extension from a different addon store.

This extension needs to be removed if people are expected to use the Chrome store extension version to connect to the Desktop application.
