Hi,
On my PC (win 10, OP 66) this website can't be opened: www.spiegel.de.
I only see a rotating red circle but the website never opens.
However, my wife's PC (same win, same OP) has no problem opening this same website. I'm sure it's some setting that needs to changed but which one? -

Does it open in any other Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Brave, Chromium, Vivaldi, the new Chromium-based Edge) on your PC? What about IE and Edge? What about Firefox?
If it only loads in Firefox for example, it might be an issue in Windows and not any specific browser.
Test with a new profile in Opera. Download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import data from default browser" and install. Test in that Opera, but do not enable Opera Sync, do not install any extensions, and do not enable the adblocker.
Does it work fine there at least?
If needed, create a new user account on Windows, log into it and test Opera there. If Opera works fine there and doesn't even work in a standalone installation on your normal account, there's most likely something messed up with your normal user account. Did you recently reinstall Windows or update Windows?

It works on my PC in Edge and it works on my wife's PC in Opera.
Windows updates itself whenever there's an update from MS. -

Just found out that the site opens after I have opened any other site.
It just doesn't open as a start page
