Installed Opera on an old Mac and I love it, only problem is it won't load youtube menus

Running on an old Macbook Pro (Mavericks OSX 10.9.5) with Opera 49. Every time I click on the youtube user icon to switch my channels, it's just an infinite spiral. Same with clicking notifications icon. It will never load no matter what I do or change.

I have no other problems with Opera besides this. Tried restarting my laptop, clearing cache and history, disabling hardware acceleration, disabling opera turbo mode, tried to find a fix in opera://flags and opera://gpu to no avail. Wondering if anyone else may have had the same issues or same issue on another website and what the fix is. Should I try downgrading to another version of Opera? I would hate that since I just set up all my settings and bookmarks, but let me know if that's what it takes. Thank you for any help!

@ceojosh24 I forgot to say, I also disabled all extensions too, and still nothing.
