It's more common to have data saver while on mobile network, so why not add the option to have data saver on while on metered mobile networks, or at least make it more accessible by adding a switch to main menu with ad blocked and night mode

YES! I always have "data savings" switched on when I'm on the mobile network and never when on Wi-Fi. It's really annoying to have to go into the settings to switch it on/off every time. Having it in the menu would be slightly more convenient but ideally there would be an option to have "data savings" switch on/off automatically depending on the network.
For other users it would probably also be useful to be able to say "I want 'data savings' to switch on automatically when the network speed is slower than 4G and off when it is 4G or faster" (for example). -

Very nice idea. I'm sure there already were such suggestions. Even menu option in "O" menu would be OK. Browser is much faster with DataSaver OFF, which is a way to go with WiFi (why not).

This would be a great feature. I'm on a grandfathered plan so I have to watch my data. I always forget to turn data savings on and off when I switch between wifi and mobile data.
